From: No Time for Flashcards
Mavi is 24 months.
Mavi is always fascinated with stars, so when we reached the letter S theme, I knew this was going to be our letter craft for the week.
1. Materials needed includes: colored pens, scissor, glue, a black colored paper, glitter glue and yellow, white paper for the letter S. In my case, I used a purple paper.
2. Write a capital letter S on a sheet of paper. Allow your little one to write or draw something on it. My Mavi attempted to write a letter S too when he saw that he was writing on a huge letter S. Look, he preferred using the red pen instead of the blue pen.
3. Then, cut the letter and paste it on the black paper. Cut out some stars as well and paste it on the background. To apply the glitter glue, I showed Mavi how to do it. Up to this point, my son still doesn’t know how much force or pressure he has to apply inorder to squeeze. So he’s having a difficult time applying a liquid glue because he doesn’t know to squeeze that much yet. I am still working on that, despite the fact that we’re doing craft almost everyday, liquid glue still frustrates him.
4. And this is how our end product looks like. I put this on our wall and started singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star hehehe. He loved this art work so much that it has been on the wall for 3 weeks now.
