Letter Craft: B is for Bee!

This was a weekend activity as were preoccupied with a lot of things going on around the house during the weekday.

Mavi has been bugging me for a looong time that we should do the letter B craft.  He might have noticed that we only have letters A on the our art wall so he really wanted to make the letter B.  But I was pretty much busy with the chores that I kept on procrastinating the letter craft with our homeschool activities.

So last weekend, I finally got the chance to enjoy this activity with him.  Unlike our precious letter craft activities last year where I used to do 70% of the activity, this time.... Mavi insist that he do the activity on his own.  What I did was guide him basically on what we’re gonna do with the letter and where to paste the wings and antennae.  Trust me, he did all of these... and look at how he placed the sting  of the bumblebee.

Letter Craft: b is for butterfly!

When we did this craft, it was really dark, in and outside the house because of rain.  It’s been so gloomy in Singapore for the past days and we have poor lighting inside the house. 

Mavi did this craft on his own and I think he will be doing the rest of his letter crafts with no intentions of asking assistance from me.  Nowadays he wants to do things all by himself and not letting me join him. Sad thing.

So with minimal participation I just instructed him what to do with the letter b.  Basically the only role I have in this craft was cutting the letter since I am not allowing him to use steel scissors at the moment.  But as I mentioned early on, I am planning to let him practice using a steel scissor with me around.
