Letter Craft: Q is for Queen

Letter craft is my son’s favorite favorite activity.  As you all know, he loves loves the alphabet.  So for our letter Q this week, we made a QUEEN!

1.  Materials needed:  colored papers (mine was orange, red, yellow), colored pens, glue, scissor, and some stickers.

2.  I wrote a big letter Q on the yellow paper.  I made him write and color it with pens.  When done, cut out the letter Q and set it aside.

3.  On the orange paper, I made a face using a black pen.  As I am making it, I told him that I am making a face, with 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth.  When you do this, make sure it will show through the inside of the Q.

4.  I cut out a crown from the red paper, and made him embellish it with stickers.  Sadly, he only put two stickers on the crown and the rest he put it on his arms.

5.  When everything is done, I assembled everything.  Since he’s too young to do it by himself, I just showed him how I did it and what was the outcome of our activity.  He was so happy, and keeps on saying “Q!”.  I posted our letter craft in the wall so he can see his work of art.
