Maverick and I woke up at around 7AM. I smiled at him per usual, said to him the usual "Good Morning Baby" and "I love you Mavi". He smiled, liking what he heard. He moved closer to me, cuddled and sucked his thumb while I embraced him.
The moment stopped, we just paused there and I have felt so much love. Then I told him to stay on the bed, while Mama brushes teeth.
I got up, put some pillows on the edge of the bed so he won't fall. He turned on to his tummy position and looked up to where I am going. When I was nowhere in sight (I'm in the bathroom already), he cried so hard. He cried first, then suddenly uttered the words "Mama, mama, mama".
Duh!!! I stopped brushing my teeth, I couldn't believe hearing him saying those words. So young! But again, he cried "Mama, mama, mama". I hurriedly completing my morning bathroom ritual. Washed my hands, then peek at the door of the bathroom to check on him.
He saw me, I smiled and then I went back inside. He cried once again, and again, cried the words "Mama".
I was so sure, my little boy just called me "Mama" at 5 months.
The rest of my day was filled with profound happiness, so I felt like going out and celebrating.
Mommy and Maverick. Mavi sticks out his tongue gesturing that he likes Mum's foodie
This "malling" is a great outdoor activity for Maverick. He loves it, especially the cold temperature inside the mall hehehe. My little boy loves all the lights, the people, the colors around him and of course the sight of Mama.
Dad is one lucky guy, huh?
Here, we accompanied Mavi's grandpa on an errand. He was so stimulated by the people around him that he kept shouting, babbling words, playing and can't stop laughing and smiling.
He fell asleep playing with his new toy that I bought for him. He loves this ball, he can grip it, he can bite it and he loves the sound the ball produces when he rattles it.
