Before we left..

We did a few activities before having our holiday trip to keep him preoccupied since husband and I were very busy packing.

For a change, I tried giving him the dropper.  I first showed him what to do, by dropping water to the ice trays.  When it was his turn, he just kept on squeezing water out of the dropper.  He doesn’t get the idea yet of how to get water from the container.  So in short, this activity was a failure because he didn’t get to learn how to use the dropper.  It ended up as a water-play for him.

 

 

And of course, I took the ABC puzzle again and much to my surprise he finished all of the 26 letters.

 

As I was packing, I saw a couple of paper craft printouts which we haven’t used.  Since he’s now so good with crafts, I let him do this by himself and it was a success!  See how he positioned the feet of the panda? Hehe

Anyway, I really miss doing formal homeschool.  Right now, I am grabbing the opportunity to expose him outdoors, since we’ve been going to places here and there and is teaching him all about his surroundings while we’re on break.  Will tell you about it once we’re settled.
