Two Pink Lines

A year ago today, I discovered that I was pregnant, seeing for the first time the two pink lines Alvin and I have always been dreaming of.

Mavi turned 4 months old already. Have I mentioned how much I love him even more??

Some of the most popular tricks of Mavi these days include:

• rolling on to his side and back again in just a second
• batting at objects
• yellow on any objects that's color red
• smiling, laughing and shrieking
• sitting for seconds while holding his toes/feet
• lap standing and being pulled up to stand again
• grabbing and holding (especially Mum's phone)
• biting, drooling profusely
• kicking hard (especially on Mum's breast ouchie!)
• holding his head up and steady
• looking at books
• listening to Mum's action stories
• sucking his thumb hard (I need to look for teethers already)
• playing with his toys already
• starting to crawl
• but still doesn't want to be put on the stroller! Urrgghh!

There's probably a lot more but these are the only things that I can think of right now. I still find it mind boggling though. How could this little fellow have grown inside me, emerged, be fed just by me and grow to be completely separate and unique.


Another happy story, my husband and I also celebrated our 2 year Wedding Anniversary last December 27. For 24months of being married, we've only been together (physically) for over 11 months. It makes me really really sad every time I think of it. But of course, next year, I am looking forward that we will be together as a family already. I can't thank God enough for bringing Alvin in to my life. Without him, I won't have Mavi and I won't be this happy.

I don't have to say it here because I respect your privacy hehehe, but of course, you already know how I felt about you, and Mavi. Now that you're a Dad, I even love you more.
