He's Getting BIGger!!

.. and I'm getting thinner and thinner. Just came from our monthly checkup and Mavie's a whooping 5kilos (11lbs) already just for a month old baby!! My body aches most of the time, my back, my arms, my neck etc. Our Pedia says everything is normal.. including the huge head! She says that it's better to have a baby with big head because they grow up to be smart and very intelligent (just like her baby daw), than those with smaller heads. That BIG head of his puts me into a lot of trouble getting him out hehehe.

Mavie is still in his active, fussy.. sometimes colicky state. As early as three weeks, he can already recognize me, can be soothed by my golden voice and knows how to play already. At 4 weeks, he's cooing already.

Now, he's more awake in the morning. He's making these sounds if he gets bored being alone in the crib. He always wants someone to talk to him, play with him. He can react to our gestures, he smiles and laughs when I play with his hands singing "I have to hands", he responds to my talk by saying "aaahhhs" and "ooos". All these in one month development. What more in the next few months?
