Hello, Honey!

Okay, so Mavi, Mama and I went to Manila again to meet my in-laws and at the same time, welcome the husband back in the Philippines. He's been planning to go home since December, but he thought that it would be too early to have a vacation since he's just new in the company.

So here comes June, the long awaited vacation.. and the "meet and greet" of his little boy.

Was I excited? Definitely! 16 months of physical separation, what would you expect? This is Maverick's 2nd time to go to Manila. And of course, chaperone parin si Mother.

While waiting for the husband to arrive, we stopped by at MOA to meet my high school bestfriends Tina and Chai. The last time I saw them was also at MOA, 2008. I was 6months pregnant at that time, and was moving back to Bacolod. I miss my friends so much! So many things has happened since we parted. Tina now has 2 kids, both girls, and Chai, single again. And as for me, I now have Maverick.

6PM at NAIA, the husband finally showed up. It was the height of SWINE FLU. I was not supposed to give him a hug or a kiss because he might be exposed to the bacteria due to the travel.. but who cares??! SWINE FLU was totally forgotten once we're together.

Aside from the excitement of being with the love of my life, both of us were also anxious on how his little boy would react upon meeting him. Mavi was actually clueless who this new man was. The little boy must be asking himself, who is this man kissing and hugging my Mommy all of a sudden? Hehehe.

Below are some Daddy Moments. These moments are happiness to me. I've been dreaming of these since Mavi was born. For the past few weeks, I've been teaching the husband all about Mavi, and how to deal with him. He's a fast learner, though, sabog sya lagi :-) Laging pagod and puyat. I told him he'll get used to it.

At first Mavi is so scared of his Dad, he always cries when his Dad would get him from me. But now, there's an improvement. He doesn't cry anymore, and he loves playing with Dad. Most of the time, he doesn't care if his Dad is carrying him. The only time he wants to be with me is when he's hungry, sleepy and in bad mood.

We've been taking pictures anywhere and anytime. Precious moments together. It used to be just the two of us, ngayon tatlo na! Yahoo!

We are a family na hehehe

To God be the Glory!
